It’s not to often these days that you hear an MC stick to the topic throughout the duration of an entire song….Too many cats rhyming for the sake of riddling and not really trying to signify ANYTHING…Sure I understand the “stream of consciousness” approach, but you have to admit that after you strip away the beat, and analyze bar for bar what some dudes are getting away with – the poetic value is severely lacking in this new era (somewhat)….

“Unsolved Mysteries” by SKANKS sticks to the script though….Every line connects to the next line, every bar has a specific purpose, and he actually keeps it thorough with the concept which I believe is a lost art within itself…
