That wild dude DJ 10SHUN (Skrapez, Killowatz) has a site that you should check out…Prepare yourself for loud distorted drum breaks, ugly sampled chaos, and a heavy splash of scratch abuse cuzzo..
When people get caught up in all this “retro back to the future shit”, LE COQ SPORTIF is often left out of the conversation for some reason (They are currently celebrating their 50 year track suit anniversary, but they also have a mean kick game)..
These LE COQ SPORTIF JOAKIM NOAH Pro Model 2.0’s might raise your eyebrows, if your on the hunt for some original kick morale….
“Features a gradient upper that goes from a darker shade of green on the heel to a lighter green on the toe. White accents play a heavy roll in adding contrast on the midsole, laces and branding, while other details, such as Noah’s autograph on the heel, add a nice touch.”
Every once in awhile I will point you in the direction of other blogs that are holding the goods…MARSELLUS WALLACE CRATE FAVORITES is a spot that will keep you occupied for a minute…
Rare groove, under the radar Library, out of print wax rips, informative write ups, and all types of ammo on deck….When you head over there make sure to tell him Mr. HIP HOP BATTLEFIELD sent you jack !!!!
” Word up man, I don’t really be fucking with niggas like that, word up, niggas see me, I be on my own by myself, I don’t really be around too many niggas, I keep my circle very limited man, shout out to those that I fuck with, and those that fuck with me”…
Those words by SAM HILL on “Lessons Learned” might be the best intro I have ever heard in my whole life…
HAHA….
Recently the BX rhyme slinger released a project (The Sam Hill Story) that showcases his original approach to MC’ing…

While some will flip their entire steez in the upcoming year, I’m going to stick to the original recipe and strive to refine and expand on the things I have been doing for the majority of my life..
HIP HOP BATTLEFIELD is alive and well, and for the last 8 years I have dedicated a portion of my time to broadcast material that I believe in…While I make music myself, I feel it is mandatory for any true Hip Hop fan to share and promote other peoples music that is worthy of attention…
It’s impossible to throw me in the “FEELING MYSELF” bag because I am constantly bigging up other artist…Not only do I support other cats, I actually invest in them by BUYING their music (Yeah, I download like everyone else, but I won’t hesitate to buy the hardcopy if available)…
With that being said – GOOD MORNING VIETNAM 3 – THE PHOENIX PROGRAM by MF GRIMM & myself is GAINING MOMENTUM…I want to thank you all for your encouragement, energy, jewels, and support…The GMV series has changed my life in a myriad of ways that were unimaginable to me just a few years ago..
Now that we have your undivided attention were about to launch all types of explosive torpedos at motherfuckers, so stay tuned…
Until then, peep the visuals for our latest single from GMV3 – “Glaciers Of I.C.E.X. / Best Of The Worst, First Of The Last”, a truly amazing piece of work that will place the GMV series in a class by itself…
HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours…Look out for your peoples, stay grounded, disregard fuckery, support that REAL LIVE shit, stand up for justice, read a fucking book and turn off your computer every once in awhile, diss wack DJ’s who don’t blend, throw tomatoes at sucker MC’s, respect Hip Hop history, pour out a little liquor for those that didn’t make it to 2015 (RIP JONZ WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU – MICHAEL BROWN – TRAYVON MARTIN)….
My dude CLAAA7 (Lost Tapes) put together a comp of strictly CALL OF THE WILD material that is worthy of your time…It’s a damn shame that the slept on Harlem outfit never received a proper release because the stuff I heard from them was extra rugged…
To this day “Intellectual Dons” gives me an instant ice grill when I play it..

I posted this DJ PUMP “Steady Rocking Mix” all the way back in 2008, but after catching a flashback and giving it some decent burn recently, it was only right that I rock it again on the battlefield…
This is without a fraction of a doubt – one of the best disco break mixes I have ever heard…Pump runs the gamut on this one with excellent composition, doubles, well placed scratches, and all types of other shit that will keep you glued to every nuance that pops off…..
In recent years PUMP has moved in a different direction, I hope one day he will go back to this steez….
If your in the mood for a hearty laugh, I highly recommend that you check out ICE-T’s “Final Level” podcast with special guest KOOL KEITH….There are so many hilarious moments during this interview that I literally had tears in my eyes from cracking up…
