This is some classic shit right here……Anybody remember when “Alladin” and “Miz”, battled on “Yo’ M.T.V. Raps?…………..In my opinion “Alladin”, got jerked in the N.M.S. battle……….They both were ill for that time, but it’s hard not to notice “Miz’s” needle trouble…………….And the line switch cutting is classic, as well………{And yes that is M.C. Serch}…..HeHeHe

"King Yellowman"

I was just talking to my peoples {ShyeerAllah}, and I told him ‘Yellowman”, is coming to town……..He tried to crack jokes on “Yellowman”, and said “He didn’t know too much about him”………………..For the record, “Yellowman’ is no joke……..After Bob Marley died “Yellowman” hit the scene, and became Jamaica’s biggest artist 82-85……….He was born as a albino, and concidered a outcast………But that didn’t prevent him from displaying his natural talent {mic wrecking}…………..Sunsplash wouldn’t have been Sunsplash, without “Yellowman”……..”Sting” wouldn’t be “Sting”, without “Yellowman”………..And their is no way dancehall would be what it is today without “King Yelloman’…………….Check his album with “Fathead”, it is a essential example of mic control, breath control, and crowd control………Also “Yellowman” has been sampled by countless Hip Hop producers…”Dr.Dre” sampled him on “Nobody Move”….Nice and Smooth on “Zunga Zeng”, I will just stop there…………….Respect….

Trying To Keep Vinyl Alive

On a recent trip to my favorite record store {Amoeba Records}, I was astonished at the lack of current Hip Hop 12 inches………..This had never happened before…..I have been going there on a constant since 1999, and I alway’s walked out of there with a gang of new shit……..I know, I know, your probably thinking why and the hell is this fool still buying records?……It’s because my father was a D.J., and I have a sentimental relationship with wax………..And it just sounds better than Serato to me…If I didn’t have between 8000-10,000 {stopped counting} records to fuck around with, Serato would of been my obvious alternative………..This is no diss to my Serato rocking D.J.’s……..Some of my closest friends are monsters on that Serato shit…….I just never really felt the need to abandon certain traditions that were passed down to me {Diggin}………..But if my last trip 2 “Amoeba”, is a indicator of what’s to come………”Mr Keep Vinyl Alive”, might have to rethink some things…………………
"Ayatollah Interview"

Ayatollah is a very underrated producer………..I can’t seem to figure out why, because the brother has released some serious heat over the years……..From his work with “Tragedy” and “Imam Thug”………..To his work with ‘Mos Def”, and many others….Ayatollah has always kept it gritty……………..Salute…Check for his new album coming out September 30, entitled “Drum Machine”…..
"Piss On Your Face" {R.Kelly…Weirdo Brother Edition}
