"Chi-Town’s Finest, Akbar"

When I first heard Akbar’s verse on Jamalski’s album “Roughneck Reality”, it blew my head off…Akbar sounded like a b boy maniac on a mission..Over a ill beat by “D.J. P. Lee, {Rasco and Artifacts flipped the same break later} he persisted to drop angry punchlines, unpredictable flows, and a massive persona….This song sounds just as good today as it did back then…..Currently P.Lee is working with “Grand Master Caz”, and Akbar is still doing his thing as well…..Salute to the “Mental Giants”, for providing that raw shit…..

"Over Looked Producer Edition, Fat Jon"

In today’s Hip Hop climate it is hard as fuck to get props for your beats……..1. Everybody and their mother think they can make Hip Hop beats…..2.The music industry is so corrupt, dudes cant get paid a descent buck for their productions….3..The audience these days don’t have a clue about what true funky shit is……4..Most people are like lost sheep, that gravitate towards music that they are programmed to appreciate……………But Fat Jon has consistently put out quality material……His work with 5Deez is amazing, along with his many other side projects………..This joint is from his collabo album with “J Rawls”……..3652…Enjoy

"45 King Shit"

Anytime a D.J. throws on “900 Number”, the crowd goes crazy……………There is something about the way 45 King flips beats that makes him standout……..Even though he is a well respected producer, he never played himself in order to gain mass appeal………This cut is from the “Universal Beat Generation” series……..White label shit fool…….

People Under The Stairs just released their 6th album, “Fun-D.M.C.”……………..I have been checkin for them for a minute, and I must say, dudes have some beats……In the rhyme department, they aren’t the illest mc’s I have heard by far……But their b-boy approach makes them a crew to watch….Enjoy…

"Sucka Of The Week, Clowns On Parade Edition"

Sucka of the week is back black…………Just when you thought it was safe to enter a {rap battle} here comes this clown with a blind-sided haymaker upside your dome………………Damn………Whatever happened to the dudes that actually had ill rhymes in battles?……………..Instead of spitting ill rhymes, they beat up on the mentally ill………………..

"Lord Finesse On The Wheels"

Everyone knows “Lord Finesse” is a {Funky Technician} on the microphone, but he is no slouch on the turntables as well. This is a late 90’s mixtape he put out called, “Hip Hop Classics”…………Just to hear Finesse narrate through this mixtape is classic enough for me………This mix will be taken down in 2 weeks….Get it while you can……

"Mobb Deep Shit"

Alchemist has a new album called “Cutting Room Floor 2”, that came out a couple months back………Peep his blog alchemistbeats.blogspot.com……………The name of this burner is “Tight”, {featuring Mobb Deep}……Download below…………

"On The Battlefield"

Yo, Yo ,Yo………..The majority of these contrived battles are corny……..Dudes standing around crackin mom jokes on each other and shit………..Let’s be real, the battle circuit has turned into the “comedian circuit”………..Nothing wrong with being a funny dude, but where the fuck are your rhymes?……………..This battle right here isn’t the illest by far, but I must say I was halfway entertained……..Check in 4 yourself…….

"Wax Weapons 11" { Hardcore Ambassador Edition}

“How About Some Hardcore”…………….This is the type of mix you play before you slap someone upside the head…………..I pulled out some of my dirtiest records for “Wax Weapons 11″……….Unfortunetly there is one needle skip, but since this is a freestyle mix, I’m not tripping………….If you appreciate hardcore as much as I do, you will download this right now………..All vinyl, all Drasar Monumental, all off the dome, all grimy as fuck…………….Pow…Pow

" Remix Uppercuts "

Pow, Pow, Blam, Blaaaaaam………I’m the type of cat that takes pride in deconstructing records…..Instead of just looping shit {which I rarely do}, I usually break shit up……….Turning melody into discord…….Flipping the ugliest part of a record is what I am into…..One of my objectives, is to make sure I wreck the samples to the point that the original artist wouldn’t have a clue I jacked them…….Some dudes are into the technical part of production……But since I am a D.J., my ethics are more based around feeling. And on that note……..Here is some more remixes for you and your crew…………..All hardcore, uppercut, no nonsense, shit. Prepare for that raw……..Check the low end work people…..

"R.I.P. Anthony {Big Ant} Marin"

Anthony passed away in June of this year……..I remember seeing him working at Cue’s Records on the regular……He was always willing to build, and discuss beats, rhymes, and life……….When Cue’s closed, I would spot him at Amoeba’s………And the cypher would continue………….Rest In Power, Anthony……………………………To learn more about this Bay Area pioneer check http://www.amoeba.com/content/big-ant.html
