Back in the mid 90’s my homeboy out in Chicago (BIG MATTS) helped run a studio that recorded all types of people; Akbar, Longshot, etc…

One of that cats that he recorded and produced for was STEVIE ALI…

I hate to make comparisons but to my ear STEVIE sounds like a mix between Lakim Shabazz and LATEE (which isn’t a bad thing HAHA)…

What your about to hear is some straight up Chicago secret society rap…..You would be hard-pressed to find this anywhere..
