When I first heard “Wax Maniac” back in 1989, (Thank god for KCSB) I completely lost control of myself….At the time many M.C.’s were bigging up their D.J.’s , but “Unique” put plenty heads to bed with venomous lines like, ” Suckers he’ll wax and tax like a maniac / far from a new jack more like a battle axe “….

Almost every line in this song goes straight for the throat with nonstop, battle-ready drama !!!!!!!! It’s obvious “Unique” came from the Kool G. Rap/ T-La Rock/ early L. L. Cool J school of rhyme: but he he added his own twist to the multi-syllable approach and doesn’t get nearly enough credit for it…..
