The Blastmaster and Showbiz are going to drop an album….SAY WORD…….”Show Power” is the first single and I have to be honest, this is not as explosive as I expected it to be….
It’s not bad, KRS drops gems as usual….But I am looking forward to hearing what else they have cooked up for the 2011 season.
Keep your eyes peeled for the “Godsville” project dropping sometime soon I hope…..
Planet Asia Medallions and Madlib link up once again for an enjoyable listen….”Boiler Makers” is the first leak from the Crack Belt Theatre mixtape that is set to drop before the year is over…..BLAM.
Every time these two collaborate- ill shit pops off…..Remember “Definition Of Ill” ?……And the verses he splashed on the Stoney Jackson album sounded fresh as well…….
I have a feeling we will get an album from these two in the future…..
Earlier today I copped a flicks book by UK graff monster, “Smash 137 ” GTK (On The Run Press)……..Wow, instead of relying on his name or past accomplishments, Smash still puts in heavy work and travels the globe on a mission to wreck….
So instead of giving your peeps an average, run of the mill Christmas gift…..I suggest that you snatch up this book and spread the word…You can thank me later….
Peace to all my UK fam……Daily Diggers, Phillie, Kool Skool, etc.
* Piece rocked by my dude, KUFU ONERZ/ TNS/ NS/ GFC…..
Since I am sitting on dozens of Mobb Deep remixes that I have done over the years, I decided to put together a little project….”Remix Weaponry” will be dropping in January of 2011 and it’s going to be on some Hip Hop shock treatment, pure rawness, John Rambo shit……..
My man Tomas is going to rock the cover art, Mad Planet will be on the blends, and all production will be wrecked by Mr. Hip Hop Battlefield….HAHAHA….
Here is a little teaser, but keep in mind the finished version will sound NOTHING like this at all……….
CHECK IN……
The Fat Lace Magazine crew come correct with over two hours of obscure gems on their latest broadcast…..On a recent road trip I gave this session a chance, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear a healthy amount of scorchers that I haven’t heard before…
They even played the heavily slept on, “True Bad Boys” by The Men Of Respect-which I haven’t heard in in quite some time……
DO NOT SLEEP…..
This is a live recording of Cutty Ranks killing shit a couple weeks ago on his west coast invasion tour…..Straight from the boards, no static, no feedback, no nonsense…..I even had a chance to chop it up with the don after the show and crack a couple jokes….
Cutty doesn’t come to the States that often, so this was a monumental evening to say the least….
Pay attention, you might just learn something about live mic wrecking……BOOOOYAAAAKAAAAA SHOT !!!!!!!
Queens rhyme slinger, “Kool Sphere” dropped a solid album earlier this year entitled “Integritty”….If you haven’t heard that yet, I recommend that you give it a listen and get up to speed…HAHAHA…
Here is brand new cut for you to snatch up, Craft Work Kings (Verbal Threat)……Damn, this is extra buttery…
My brother Refa One, is bringing the “Urban Hieroglyphics” to the Bay area (Oakland) early next year…….The line-up is so gully that it’s definitely going to make 2011 a year to remember…….
You can catch Mr. Funk What Ya Heard and myself wrecking the turntables……
Peep this clip and get familiar troop…….

Pull out your best piece of linoleum, lace up those kicks nice and tight, and get ready for a heavy round of beat breaks by D.J. Jaffa…
Over an hour of explosive material folks…..
CHECK IN….
When I first started this blog my plan was to conduct an interview every week…….So I went on a mission and ended up rocking interviews with “Uncut Raw” M.C. Selfish, international Zulu Nation spokesperson Kamonzi, King Shameek, and Philly crate digger Phil Most Chill…..
I fell back on the interviews somewhat, but I still haven’t lost sight of my original plan….So expect to see more interviews and things of that nature in 2011…..
Yesterday I linked up with D.J. Cutt & M.I. of “Constant Deviants” fame…. Instead of asking them a bunch of cornball questions and wasting their time, I decided to just be myself and approach the interview in more of a Hip Hop discussion type of steez…
They both opened up about their history, plans, and what they have in store for their label, ” SIX TWO SIX SHIFT “, and a gang of other topics that will hold your attention……So go grab some popcorn, cock your chair back a little bit, and brace yourself for over an hour of “Constant Deviants” goodness…..
Big shout out to my Baltimore comrade, “Set Rule” for keeping it official……..And if you haven’t copped that Concrete Utopia album- do yourself a favor and scoop that up with a quickness….
And while your getting your mind right- peep my favorite cuts from the Concrete Utopia album….LISTEN UP…..
“Fools Rush”
“Give Me Respect”

The Wu-Tang Manual was a decent read, but RZA stepped his game up ten-fold when he put together “The Tao Of Wu”…….He reveals why he changed his sound after 1997, Chess strategies, his regrets over the untimely demise of his cousin ODB, dealing with depression, 5 % Nation teachings, and all types of other topics….
It’s a quick read that will bless you with some life jewels……A must read for any true Wu-head..
Damn this book is looking extra fresh……Published by Sweden’s Dokument Press, it features over two hundred pages of glossy goodness…..
