This interview with Danny Dan The Beatman on the Super B-Beat show is straight up hilarious..It’s also refreshing to hear someone speak their mind with no apologies…
My favorite quote-
” When it comes to this new shit I don’t understand it man…I don’t play it, I don’t listen to it, I don’t want to know it…..It’s crap and it’s not real music to me “
Mane One also comes correct with a nice set full of heavy breaks..Peace to all my folks out in SD.
Ultra affiliate Fred Beanz lets loose on his latest rocket, “Get To Know Me”…
Sure you might have heard this sample before, but bronx bomber “FB” keeps things interesting by rocking it extremely raw….
Tune in JACK !!!!
Here are a couple reasons why Magnum’s only full length album “Fully Loaded” will cost you over 400 bucks…
1..It’s crazy rare, consider yourself extremely blessed if you spot this during your digging festivities..
2..This album is flooded with supreme musicianship, ill concepts, and well thought out compositions…
3..Some of your favorite Hip Hop producers flipped samples from this album, which drove the price sky high…
In my opinion NO album in the history of recorded music is worth that amount of cheese (maybe I’m just a cheap skate when it comes to digging HAHA)….Don’t get it twisted though famo- these are some golden grooves that will put you in a 1974 state of mind…
“Evolution”
“Composition Seven”
It’s damn near impossible for me to front on Del at this point….
He has reached Kool Keith status in my eyes, because no matter what type of rhymes he drops there is always something that makes me laugh uncontrollably….For instance on this new cut “Quit Playing”, there are a couple bars that are straight up comedy..
HAHA…..Especially when he tries to emulate the sound of someone falling off a cliff…
The Genius is currently on tour, so if he rolls through your city you know the motherfucking drill duke!

Remember when I mentioned late last year that I had a few tricks up my sleeve for 2012 ?
1..On Spit Gemz latest mixtape (Welcome To Hell’s Gate), they rock over one of my productions for “Sinister Grin” featuring J-Love, Shaz IllYork, and Starker…..
If you look at the cover above- the song is #10….
Needless to say I’m excited about that shit….BLAM.
2..I’m currently in the studio with a real live NYC Hardcore Hip Hop legend working on a full length project…..And to be quite frank, the shit is coming out very explosive….
We will be in the lab for a few more weeks and ya’ll will be the first to get a sneak peek when the time is right, so stay tuned to the motherfucking BATTLEFIELD trooper……Don’t get twisted though- I will still sprinkle ya’ll with daily blog jewelry regardless of how insanely busy my life is right now…
Big up to everyone that checks in the regular (I SEE YOU)…

Bumpy Knuckles is the special guest on the latest “R.I.O.O.C” broadcast….
Be on the lookout for that Premier & Bumpy collabo album when it drops in the near future (I have a feeling that it might be one of the best releases in 2012)…

Those dudes over at Ego Trip continue with their streak of dope features with Easy Mo Bee’s top ten sample flips…This is slowly becoming one of my favorite things to check for on the web…
The former “Rhyming Is Fundamental” member goes in heavy by describing production techniques down to the smallest detail…
WU TANG CLAN- “Take It Back”
Sample Source: Bob James – “Nautilus” (CTI, 1974)
Easy Mo Bee: Basically, I wanted those bells to come out. The bell sounds Bob James was achieving on the keyboard. In a way you can kinda say what I did was [Main Source’s] “Live at the Barbeque” to the next level. I was like, I want something a little bit more intricate than [the pattern on] “Live at the Barbeque.” So I’m sampling the kick and snare, but they’re like kick and snare pieces with bits of music left on them. I’m sitting there and I’m playing it back and I kinda ended up getting a slightly new drum pattern out of it too. I added some light guitar sounds on top. Played a bass line that contained some of the original notes from “Nautilus,” but it was slightly different. And it just felt good. And plus, I always wanted to use that, man. Like all of the samples that I wanted to use people done already raped ‘em. So it’s like if you coming behind them you gotta do something great with ‘em or just leave it alone, man.
Mr. Dan Greenpeace lets the pianos rock on his latest offering “Piano Breaks 2″….
” So I should probably put this into some kind of context. Back in 1998 a then fledgling bedroom DJ by the name of Yoda put out a mix tape called ‘Piano Breaks’ (Google it – it’s out there somewhere) using rap records that used piano samples. I was a fan as soon as I heard his early mix tapes and went on to help him release others on my Fat Lace imprint like ‘Jewbonics’ as well as our first collaboration ‘Jews Paid’, the precursor to ‘Unthugged’. So roll on some 14 years and ‘Unthugged 3D’ is about to drop but in an act of total randomness sparked by an idea seeded on a long ass flight, I decided to precede our new collab with a mix tape of my own, an homage to the original Piano Breaks “.
A couple months back I posted up a couple remixes from DJ Skizz (Halftime Show) that were highly explosive, now I’m going to splash you with the first leak from his upcoming mixtape, Kings From Queens….
“The Foulness” features Big Twinz & Killa Sha (R.I.P.)…
Turn the volume up, lace up your Timbs, and put on your best screw face before hitting the play button duke !
The 2011 DMC World Champion DJ Vajra hits us with a live mix set on this “Live For The Funk” session….
You will hear loads of breaks, cuts, and well executed doubles…
Check out this trailer for the “Roc 4 Raida” mixtape that just dropped (I already received a copy and it’s no fuckin joke)…..Big up to the X-Ecutioners for keeping Roc’s name alive…
