A record doesn’t have to be extremely rare in order for me to be hyped up about it…Some of these cats put more value in the scarcity of a record than the actual music itself…

I could give a fuck less if it’s a joint from 1992 and only 50 copies are in circulation – if the tracks are straight trash (FEEL ME)..

Anyway, I copped this CAMOUFLAGE LARGE “Hitman Holding Steel” 12 inch back when it initially dropped in 1996…For some reason I never fully gave “HHS” a decent burn because I was always drawn to the more sinister frequencies of the B-side, “Cock Back The 9″…

I decided to rock “HHS” earlier today and it sounds better than I remember it…. Not sure what happened to CAMOUFLAGE LARGE (Ghetto Minds,21 Gunz, Underground Assassin, E-Knight), but their name should be mentioned more often when cats are talking about 90’s hardcore..
