" Spring Time Action, Part 2 "
The Eh Team Dj’s (Pump, Hedspin, Jr.Flo, & Illo) have been making a name for themselves over the years….As a collective they run the gamut when it comes to style, creativity, and party rocking capabilities….
Even though they all hail from Canada, they often travel the globe wrecking dance floors from coast to coast…..
On this mix that features Pump & Wax Romeo on the decks, you will hear non-stop street jam burners, BBQ theme music, and all that other fly freak mode shit…..(All the blends are flawless by the way)

" Philly Jewels "
Back in 2000, Philly repper Japhia Life dropped an incredible E.P. “Pages Of Life” on the now defunct Ready Rock Record label……..For some strange reason this man does not receive the props that he rightfully deserves…….
The project is packed with fresh beats and introspective rhymes that are flooded with jewels that will force you to hit the rewind button – STRAIGHT UP………..If you are unfamiliar, prepare yourself for some heavy shock treatment…
All beats by Architect…..
“Precious Memories”
“Fortunate”
“Pages Of Life”
" Blog Shots 54 "
If your looking for some quality selections, mixes, musical knowledge, etc….. Head over to the Kenny Blogginz blog for a healthy dose of morale…..
I’m not sure if he updates anymore, but there is enough heat over there to hold you down regardless……One of the post that caught my attention was the “Trap Door Mix” volume 1 that included one of my favorite B-Boy anthems by Can entitled, “Vitamin – C”……….
Peep the visuals……..
So head over to the blog and get busy homeboy…..
" More Hardcore – Body Snatcher Edition "
“Fiery words from the page / get summoned like souls from the grave”………BLAM…..
Icepick, Grizzly, and the infamous D.J. Supreme made up the U.K. crew, “Body Snatchers”….Even though their Genocide E.P. is worth a pretty penny (I’ve heard stories of people paying 1000 dollars for it) there is only one track on there that is a certified burner in my opinion….
“M.C. Killer” is the kind of record you play right before you decide to push someone off a cliff……If this doesn’t make you want to set it off, you should get your pulse checked…….
Big up to all my dudes in the U.K. who know what time it is: Beat Detective, Kid Dyno, Kool Skool, Phillie, etc…..
" Rubberoom Rebooted Wreck "
Even though I am a die-hard Rubberoom supporter, I wasn’t feeling one of their newest tracks, “It’s On” when I heard it a few weeks ago……Wasn’t bad, I was just expecting more since they haven’t recorded together in quite sometime…..
Thank goodness they fully redeemed themselves with this Rebooted mixtape full of bangers, remixes (Makers remix of White Hot Razors is crazy), B-Sides, etc…….
I’m glad to hear that they are recording as a unit again…..Looking forward to hearing more hardcore chaos from these Chicago madmen..
" Champion Hoodie Mix "
Konny Kon supplies us with over an hour of Hip Hop rockets past and present……You will hear joints from U.N., Evil Ed, Mic Geronimo, Brain Sick Mob, Raekwon, Real Live, Cappo, etc…..
Instead of going the compilation route- he took the time to actually mix (Seems like a lost art these days unfortunately)…..
You know the drill…………U.K. STAND THE FUCK UP……
" Hiero Goodies "
If your looking for some flavor packets to sprinkle on your wardrobe this Summer, head over to the Hiero Emporium and get yourself draped up….
Hoodies, Toys, Tees, and even motherfuckin Hiero Jeans………
When you head over there make sure you tell them that grimy dude from Hip Hop Battlefield sent you jack….
" J Rawls – The Hip Hop Affect "
Here is one of my favorite cuts from J Rawls new album Hip Hop Affect, “Salute” featuring Painkhan…..The way he flows on this beat is just ridiculous, and the beat grabbed my attention from the gate…..
I highly suggest you listen to this on a decent system to truly absorb how ill the production is…….
And while your at it : peep this interview with “J” conducted by those cats at UGSMAG….
" Friday Body Rockers "
Pete Rock’s brother Grap Lover (Formerly of INI) is nice with the beats and the wordplay……
Unfortunately I haven’t heard much from him lately, hopefully this compilation of tracks will hold you over until he drops some more material….

" Wais P – It’s In The Game "
Before I even get started I gotta mention that I believe pimps are some of the biggest scumbags you will ever meet….Anyone that takes advantage of dizzy women for the sake of money has some real issues….
Don’t get me wrong- many women willingly play the game without being forced into that lifestyle….Shiiiit, some of them even believe that being a prostitute elevates them into a glamorous career….But I believe we need to spend more time trying to build our women up, instead of perpetuating negativity and typical behavior……..
Everyone has a mother……Some of you cats have sisters and daughters so you should know better famz…..
With that being said, I am still a Hip Hop head and I tend to gravitate towards the grimier side of things…….Even though I am a civilized brother, I mostly listen to hardcore material …….For example, ex- Ranjah “Wais P” spits that pimp shit in his bars over fresh production by Preemo, Statik Selektah, Sebb, Shuko, and others on his latest mixtape, “It’s In The Game”……
" Jake One On The Decks "

Some of you may have heard this before, and some of you haven’t…..Regardless, it deserves your undivided attention so let the beats rock homeboy…
You know the drill…….Two thumbs up steez…
