Back when I used to check for the MC formerly known as COMMON SENSE there was a line that he rocked that caught my attention..
On the album RESURRECTION there is a song called “Check The Method” with Y-NOT where he said, “I make money / money doesn’t make me”….
Yeah, I know it’s not the most technical bar, but it was thoughtful enough to convince me that he was clever with his pen game……Little did I know that a few years earlier a crew from Nottingham (home to the P-Brothers) TWICE THE TROUBLE flipped the same exact line on a joint called “SERIOUS”.
Is this a case of biting or great minds thinking alike ?
