" Fly Kick Rocker Steez "
I’m not going to even try to front, I haven’t picked up a pair of Pumas in over ten years…..
Well it looks like my sabbatical is officially coming to a close with the release of these extra fresh Puma State Gortex jump off’s (Shadow Society + Foot Patrol London)…..Yeah homepiss these are no joke…
" Rashid Hadee On The Set "
Straight from the Windy City comes the latest offering from that dude Rashid Hadee…
Hip Hop Battlefield Top Picks- Don’t Sleep, The Meeting, The Small Things, and Land Of Opportunity….
" More Breakbeat Pressure "
Lean Rock, DJ Shame (Yeah the one from Vinyl Reanimators trooper), Jus Jones & Kogataroo let off a full clip of pure B-Boy action on this explosive session of head nodders (Year Of The Horse Volume.1) Plenty of under the radar breaks to get you in the right frame of mind….
Doubles, cuts, and all that other fly shit….DO NOT SLEEP JACK !!!!
" 4 All My Wu- Headz, Part 11 "
Remember when RZA used to talk about a solo album that he was working on called “The Cure”….Around that time I had high hopes for the project and I hoped it would eventually see the light of day…..Instead what we got was “Bobby Digital” with a keyboard driven sound that fell way below my expectations…
Regardless I am still a RZA fan to this day……It’s impossible to front a dude that changed the definition of hardcore Hip Hop production…..Right ?
Anyway, back in 2004 the “Formula Of The Cure” hit the web and I finally got around to listening to it yesterday……There are definitely a few surprises on this joint that caught me off guard…..Via-KC.

" Skills – 2011 Wrap Up’s "
Just like I predicted your boy Skills returns with another wrap up joint for all you sentimental brothers out there…..Can’t even front he covers a lot of ground in a short period of time, my only complaint is his beat selection…..
Take a listen and prepare for a few chuckles…
" Raekwon : Unexpected Victory "
One of the hardest working M.C.’s in Hip Hop is back with a new mixtape to help jump start your 2012….

" New Years Wreckage "
Another year came and went in a blink of an eye…
CRAZY…..
I guess we will be hearing another “Skillz” end of the year wrap up sometime soon…HA..
Anyway, earlier today I decided to get a little turntable abuse in to help bring the new year in properly….I’m not going to give you guys a playlist this time around, but you will hear cuts from Large Pro, Walking Large, A Kid Called Roots, Ghostface Killah, Guilty Simpson, Jon Knotty, Akinyele, accapella flips, doubles, and all types of other wild shit…
Big shout out to everyone that supports how I get down over here…..2012 shots and you don’t stop !!!!!
* All vinyl mix.
" Conspiracy Radio – 12/24/11 "
M.O.P. , Afu Ra, Action Bronson, and Pete Rock’s brother Grap Lover are the special guest on the latest edition of the Conspiracy Radio broadcast….
Montana & Menace keep up their streak when it comes to bringing informative interviews to the table….
" 2 Tone : Mike – T Is Dope "
After listening to that Kid Jazz interview with Thief The Priest a couple days ago, I decided to do a little investigating to see what Thief’s history is all about….
Come to find out he was in a group called 2-Tone back in the 80’s and Mike T from CMW was their D.J. for a period of time..
WOW…
Back in 1988 they recorded some material that ended up being shelved…Thankfully the good folks over at Jamille Records released a couple joints from the crew earlier this year…..
My top pick from the batch is a cut named “Mike T Is Dope” produced by KG of The Cold Crush Brothers…..FRESH IS THE WORD..
" Roddy Rod 2011 "
Fuck what ya heard that dude formerly of Maspyke, “Roddy Rod” has some very fresh beats under his belt…
Unfortunately he doesn’t get the props that his fellow Low Budget Crew members receive (Kev Brown, Odyssey)……Hopefully with the release of Oakwood Grain 2 all that will change….
Take a listen and get your mentals correct…
" Mid Week Rockets "
Who has a grimier voice than Big Twin in Hip Hop ?
Think about that one for a second….Nine, D.O.C., Duke from Psycho Realm ?
The only person that I can think of off top would be Burro Banton who leans more on the dancehall side of things……Twinz links up with Bam & Big Noyd for some 2011 ugliness on this joint entitled, “Burn It Down” from DJ Skizz’s upcoming release BQE…
Skizz has been dropping some raw beats lately so be on the lookout for that project early next year homeboy…
PEEP..
" New Psycho Les "
Psycho Les pops back up on the set with this new joint “Sadat & Sandman”……
Lately I have heard all types of commotion about how ill Sandman is, especially after signing with Stones Throw, but to be honest I have never heard any of his music…I’m still on the fence regarding his rhymes on this song..
Can’t front though- the great dot x steals the motherfuckin show…
“Sadat & Sandman” produced by Psycho Les..
" Battlefield Remix Steez "
Before I even get started I want ya’ll to know something – these remixes that I flip are tailor made joints….
Instead of just throwing an accapella over a previously made production, I build the instrumental around the vocals which enables me to get intricate with the wreckage….HA.
Some of these producers out here drop vitamin deficiency beats….I try to bulk my shit up with protein powders, amino acids, and all the proper essentials..
My goal is to construct beats that will topple motherfuckers…….With this remix of “I’m Legend” by Smiley The Ghetto Child, I believe I accomplished my mission……BLAM,BLAM….
" Kid Jazz Vs. Donald D "
Even though the Rhyme Syndicate only put out one full length album (Rhyme Syndicate Coming Through) they made a tremendous impact…One of my personal favorites from the crew “Kid Jazz” is still putting out music under the new moniker, J-Swagg…
When I first found out that he put “swag” in his name I almost lost my composure…..I started having flashbacks of when other childhood heroes of mine let me down in the new millennium with sub-par material full of uninspired rhymes, new age cornball beats, and all that other shit (you know the scenario)…
But when I heard the song “Eat E’m Up Swagg” that rocks a chorus similar to L.L. Cool J’s “Eat E’m Up L”, I had to shake my head in disbelief…….Not only does he swipe L.L’s hook, he takes a few swipes at the Syndicate sniper Donald-D…..
Regardless, what your about to hear is a piece of Hip Hop history…….Earlier this year “Kid Jazz” rocked a interview with a cat named Thief The High Priest……Do yourself a favor and skip the first couple of minutes (you will see what I’m talking about)….
You would be hard-pressed to find anything about Kid Jazz or his old group Domination on the net, so consider yourself lucky trooper….
PEEP…
" Attack Of The Killer Demos Returns "
Only a few MC’s could touch James Todd Smith in his prime….
SERIOUSLY…
He wasn’t the most technical M.C., but he made up for it with pure B-Boy explosiveness…For instance on this demo version of “Jack The Ripper” he goes all out with a barrage of battle rhymes, attitude, and 1988 hardrock frequencies …
