” New Shit On Deck “
I usually refrain from posting up snippets, but this Diamond-D Smith & Wesson collabo sounds explosive so I had to let it fly….
” Neek The Exotic Speaks “
Mr.Neek The Exotic is the special guest on DJ Toshi’s Classic Storm Radio 9/28/12…
You will also hear new music from Royal Flush, Casual, Butta Verses, and a different version of “Faking The Funk” that I have never heard before….
” New Shit On Deck “
Here is the second leak from the upcoming LIKNUTS project…”Bang” sounds better than that “Grumpy Crocodile” shit, but I’m still eager to hear what else they have up their sleeves…
” B – Boy Pressure “
The Notorious IBE battles popped off earlier this year in the Netherlands, and by the clips I have seen it looks like cats have taken shit to a whole different stratosphere….
If you think I’m bullshitting – peep this clip and prepare for your motherfucking jaw to drop…..
SERIOUSLY..
” Hip Hop Treats “
Some dudes rock money clips, others use rubber bands, I recently witnessed one of those “NEW AGE WEIRDOS” stashing cheese in his fanny pack…
HAHA…
But when I spotted one of these Wildstyle wallets I knew I had to do the right thing…..If your thinking along the same lines do yourself a favor and scoop one of these bad boys up while you still can…..
” Fly Garments On Deck “
If your on a hunt for fly shit to rock – make sure you peep out BBP- BX’s Summer Collection Lookbook (Yeah I know it’s Fall for most people, but here in Vietnam, California where I live it’s always Summertime, HAHA)….
Damn, I wish that boombox was for sale too…
” Diamond D Speaks “
Huge Hefner / D-Squizzy / Big Dime / otherwise known as DIAMOND D is the special guest on Peter Rosenberg & Cipha Sounds radio show..
To be honest these two get on my last nerve, but to hear “D” speak his mind freely is definitely a Friday treat….
CHECK IN….
” Jealous Toys Die “
Sometimes I wonder if the CONMEN (Jake One & Supreme) will ever put out another breakbeat edition (last release was 2001)…
“Veteranos”, “Don’t Even Sample This”, “The Masters”,”Smooth Criminal Beat Breaks” and one of my personal favorites, “Jealous Toys Die” are all packed to the rim with heavy ammo….
” Tuesday Night Steam “
When ZU’S “Dark Sense” album initially dropped in 2009 it slipped past my radar…I stumbled onto it a couple nights ago – with features from KILLA SHA (RIP), GODFATHER 3, SHYHEIM, ISLORD, I decided it would be best to give it some burn….

” Under The Radar “
The production duo the SHOGUNZ just released the “Cosmic Tripping” project on BLUNTED ASTRONAUT RECORDS..These cats hail from the Netherlands and they come equipped with beats that are laced with booming drums, heavy layers, etc…..
Some of the rhymes are SUSPECT in my opinion, but it’s a decent listen regardless…
Here is HIP HOP BATTLEFIELD’S TOP PICKS…”Minor Trip”, “Bugged Out, “Ode To NY”….
“Bugged Out”
“Ode To New York”
” Ricci Rucker Wreck “
It’s been awhile since I heard anything from the turntable wrecking ball, RICCI RUCKER…..The stuff he was doing a decade ago still outshines most of the scratch patterns I hear today…
Luckily I stumbled onto this project he rocked while on tour in Japan earlier this year…For some reason he doesn’t start scratching until the 20 minute mark, but when he does set it off – it’s straight up curtains…
Over an hour of wildness trooper…..
” Blog Shots 42 “
I’m not stingy when it comes to sharing other blogs that are holding the goods….
Matter of fact, the “HARD,RAW,DEEP,FUNK” blog is flooded with jewelry if your on a quest to find rare, out of print, funk mode goodies like the unreleased “Shorty The Pimp” O.S.T pictured above..
When you head over there tell them the grimy dude from HIP HOP BATTLEFIELD sent you jack!!!!
” Friday Firepower “
Since it’s Friday I know you are looking for a power boost to jump start your weekend fiesta….
Back in 2009 my man “PLANET ROCKA” from Funk What Ya Heard put together this mix for Wild Style Technicians….Doubles, blends, great selections, and well thought out compositions make this session a certified head nodder…
” In this mix I flip doubles, trick mix, BEAT MATCH, flip blends, and throw a couple of drops in from the peoples that support me… This mix was made a few months back but at the time ALL the tracks were very NEW and EXCLUSIVE.. Some of you might be up on these (I HOPE) and some of you might not be up on them…. But hopefully you just enjoy it for what it is, GOOD MUSIC…Respecto”

” Milkcrate Jewels, 35 “
It’s been a minute since I splashed ya’ll with some milkcrate jewelry, so without further delay let’s get into this….
The mysterious Brooklyn crew “Candystore” put out a couple singles in the mid-late 90’s….”Escape From Belize” stills sounds just as rugged today, as it did when I first heard it…
If anyone out there has any info about “Menage”, “Lifty” & “Crimes” send it my way (you will be hard-pressed to find any info about the trio on the internet)….
“Escape From Belize” produced by Jerry Callender…Keep It Moving Records 1996…
