” Let The Beats Rock “
Every once in awhile I go on a hunt to find some beat tape morale….
Unfortunately I end up sifting through shit for ages before I stumble onto something that I can actually rock…
I recently gave this Teddy Pendergrass beat tape a listen that had a FEW head nodders on it..
47 tracks deep..
” DJ Muro On Production ”
DJ Muro is known worldwide for his skills behind the wheels of steel, but he also gets busy on the production tip…

” Drasar Monumental On The Remix “
Every once in awhile I have to bring back some heat that you might have missed…..A couple years ago I rocked a remix project (STRICTLY WEAPONS) that received a decent response when it dropped…
It is filled to the brim with heavy duty chop work, sinister production, and a healthy dose of loud war drums…
The other night I decided to go back through the files and I wound up listening to this Lord Finesse “Shorties Caught In The System” remix over and over again…..When I originally made it I knew I caught a little wreck, but after giving it some time to simmer and marinate – I realized I knocked it out of the motherfucking park…
HAHAHA..
” Respect The Architects “
When I met up with Mighty Shirt King “PHADE” at the Aerosoul event last year, he informed me that he was on the verge of completing a book that fully details the story of his contribution to the world of Hip Hop fashion…
Now the moment that I have been waiting for has finally arrived….
SALUTE.
“A trip down memory lane to when customization and art reigned supreme in New York City. Jamaica, Queens, New York in the mid 1980s. Rappers and hip hop fans came from all over the city to get their own customized T-shirt by The Mighty Shirt Kings. The style traveled all over the world through record covers, magazines and music videos and the Shirt Kings designs soon became synonymous with Hip Hop and the culture of making something out of nothing. Shirt Kings – Pioneers Of Hip Hop Fashion looks at the early days of urban fashion through the lens of the pioneering group of artists known as the Shirt Kings. By adapting the graffiti skills from the trains and spray cans to shirts and airbrush they created a new look for a new generation”.

On the “Last Amateur” it is obvious that he spent an enormous amount of time mapping out the execution…
