"Milk Crate Jewels, Part 3"

Authorized Fam is a group from Staten Island that I don’t know to much about…..I caught this record a couple year’s back while digging in Seattle…..You can hear the Wu-Tang influence in their shit, the beat sounds like something RZA would have done in 96-97…..The one thing that I know for sure about this record {white label} is that it came out on Vortex Records…….If anyone has info on “Authorized Fam” get at me……Enjoy
"Milk Crate Jewels, Part 2"

If you have been following “Hip Hop Battlefield”, you already know “The Nonce” is a group I speak very highly of…….On this song {Thing’s Fall Apart}, you can feel the melancholy mood pouring out of the speakers….It’s a somber sounding tune that addresses the up’s and downs of the music industry………Peep… R.I.P Yusef Afloat….
"Getting Up Remix. Featuring Camp Lo"

Time to check in folks…..Q-Tip looks happier than a motherfucker doesn’t he…Ha-Ha….
"For Those That Slept"

It doesn’t get much more wilder than this……Good Lifers/ Project Blowedians, stand up……
"Exile Shit"

I can’t even front, the first time I heard of that kid “Exile”, was for his production work on “Mobb Deep’s” last album {Pearly Gates}….But he has been around for quite some time, honing his chops in the L.A. scene……….His recent work with “Blu” is garnering a lot of attention for good reason……They simply put out good music…….Here is an example of Exile doing what he does best, chopping beats the fuck up…
"Evil Dee Is On the Mix, Come On Kick It"

Evil Dee has a gang of podcast posted up at podomatic.com……When you touchdown over there, make sure you tell em that kid from Hip Hop Battlefield sent ya…….100

"One Nation Under A Groove"
The Zulu Nation has been around longer than I have been alive….It’s unfortunate that I couldn’t be there to pay homage and celebrate it’s 35 anniversary…….But I was absolutely there in spirit….Here is some footage from last weekend….
‘Somebody Call Security"

Lil Fame released a track recently from his upcoming album {Fame And The Glory} called, “Security”……This is the kind of joint you play before you go out on the strip this weekend……HaHa….2 Thumbs up
"Alchemist And Evidence Are The Stepbrothers"

Their are hardly any “Hip Hop Remakes” that I actual enjoy…..Snoop’s version of “La De Da De”, sounded goofy at best…..Mos Def’s version of “Children’s Story”, put me to sleep……Ahhh let me see..”Buckshot’s version of “I Ain’t No Joke” was kinda poppin…Anyway, the “Step Brothers” made a remake of Cypress Hill’s “Hit’s From The Bong”…..Let me know what ya’ll think of this remake…..
"Chief Kamachi And Killer Priest"
If their whole album had beats like this, they would have one of the best albums of the year……
"Brand New"

D.J. Dead Eye just released a new cut called “Girl Interrupted” {Featuring Termanology and Skyzoo} …I gotta say, this joint is kinda buttery… Statik Selektah’s beat put me in some type of flashback trance…..Thumbs up
" Soundclash Shit"
Looking forward to seeing this when it officially drops {November 18} ….But I gotta say, pitting “Will I Am” against “Thes-One” seems a little strange {2 way different styles} to me…..Regardless this D.V.D. looks kinda ill…..
"The Notty Headed Terror"

Tame One’s new album, “New Jersey Bastard” has some joints on it…This cut is called “Against The Grain”…It sound’s like your boy has still got it……Jersey stand up……{Produced by Parallel Thought}
"Drasar Monumental On The Remix"

Remember the “Double XX Posse”? T-Ray used to fuck around with them back in the day…….”Not Going To Be Able To Do It” and “Headcracker”, were their biggest hits, but “Money Talks”, was one of my personal favorites……”Sugar Ray”, sounds so hungry on his verse, you can feel the raw determination…….Here is another remix I did recently……Turn the volume to ten and get live motherfuckers….Pow
